By going to the H.O.M.E portal located at www.woodgreen.org and beginning the application for approval process.
This portal is a way for landlords specifically looking to connect with Syrian refugees to do so. Sponsors and refugees must register and be approved to use the portal, so there is an authentication process. The objective of the H.O.M.E portal is match people in need with people wanting to assist them.
H.O.M.E access is free for all users.
There is no limit to how long a unit can be posted. Landlords will receive an automated notification after 30 days if a listing remains active.
All applicants must identify whether they are in need or are a housing provider or goods/services donor, and provide basic contact information.
Access to information is specific to the user (e.g. goods/services donors cannot access information about other donors). All applicants must agree to the portal terms of use. The portal is compliant with Canada’s Anti-Spam Law (CASL).
Our staff work hard to ensure a response is given within 48 hours of submitting an application.
